These cardboard-based toys work with your Joy-Cons to make for some unique controls. Instead of having to buy a whole new controller for a fishing rod, for instance, you can buy the much cheaper cardboard kit and toss your Joy-Con in, i mean the Switch. Nintendo is expanding on this idea in an AWESOME way with the Toy-Con Vehicle Kit. Here is everything you need to know about it ............ The vehicles are the focus for this set, which lets you build controls for a car, a plane, and a submarine. All the cardboard toys look well-thought-out, too, with the car getting both a steering wheel and pedal, the plane getting a proper flight stick, the submarine getting … hmmm, of course the submarine control that i don't know what it's name.
The Nintendo Labo Toy-Con Vehicle Kit starts you out by building 2 keys, which are used to activate the vehicles currently in play in a game ........ in other words ...... if you are using the car, you put a key in the car. Same as with the flight stick and the submarine control. Why ??? Because it comes with a two-player coop mode that allows someone to control the car, while the other person controls a weapon that’s mounted on the car using the flight stick ......... 2 player mode will require an extra set of Joy-Cons ........
The car is the most complex of the builds. It comes with a pedal to accelerate the car, a steering wheel to maneuver it, and 2 levers on either side for a battle mode that gives your car arm-like weapons that you control using the sticks. The Toy-Con Vehicle Kit comes with an adventure mode that allows players to explore 10 different areas, each one containing 8 challenges to complete. It’s designed to be the first game you play using the kit, as it walks you through each of the controls, showing you how to do everything using the different vehicles. You will be switching vehicles all throughout this mode, which will require you to move the key to the next rig ............ Aside from the adventure, battle, and coop modes, there is also a slot car game that you play using just the pedal, as well as a Paint Studio that lets you paint over each of your in-game vehicles. The kit comes with a cardboard spray paint for this, which you must also build, same as with all the other controls.

Nyko PixelQuest Is A Miniature Two-Player Arcade Cabinet For Your Nintendo Switch. Where Nintendo goes, others follow .......... Off the back of Nintendo's popular Labo cardboard kits, accessory maker Nyko has concocted its own cardboard creation - the PixelQuest Arcade Kit, a cardboard set that gives, i mean which turns a Nintendo Switch into a miniature two-player arcade cabinet. You know all those arcade cabinet accessories that are designed to dock a tablet to serve as the display ??? Well, it’s kind of like that. Except, with docking stations for the Switch’s touchscreen and the two Joy-Cons, so you can have two players mash buttons on Street Fighter, Mario Kart 8, and Metal Slug 3 or whatever other arcade title you own as if you were in an arcade hall back in the 90s. The Nyko PixelQuest Arcade Kit does not come with its own software or games the way Nintendo’s Labo kits do. Instead, it’s literally just a docking station clad in the form of a desktop arcade cabinet .......
As with many cardboard kits, this comes flat-packed and requires assembly in order to form the final cabinet build. Unlike the Labo kits, though, there are not any moving parts in the cardboard pieces, so the assembly should be simpler and more straightforward. That is to say, kids are not likely to learn any STEM concepts here, although it does get them a really nice-looking arcade cabinet that they can rip with their bare hands whenever they rage after a tough loss .......... This "stuff" or The Nyko PixelQuest Arcade Kit is not made up entirely of cardboard. Instead, it comes with plastic elements that surround the Joy-Cons before you insert it in the dock, which should serve to better secure it in place while providing access to the shoulder button via physical buttons that activate the corresponding shoulder buttons whenever they are pressed. It also comes with two large joysticks that clip onto the thumb sticks to provide a bigger control that’s more suited for an arcade setup.
This "stuff" has built-in cutouts on the cardboard to enable passive ventilation for the Switch, as well as a cutout for passing through a charging cable .......... Each set comes with 8 sheets of cardboard and a set of stickers that you can use to decorate your arcade cabinet.
