GlowCity Light Up Basketball Uses Two LED's, This Ball Will Light-Up Like Glowing Fire While You Play. This "ball" called The GlowCity light-up basketball uses two "high bright" LEDs inside of the basketball to make it glow extra bright, which makes it easy to play basketball at night or maybe indoors without lights. The glowing basketball uses two LEDs, this allows the entire ball to illuminate like glowing fire while you play. It works by detecting the ball bouncing, meaning to activate the lights all you have to do is play with it and the lights will turn on, once you are done playing with it the lights will shut off, i mean after you stop bouncing it (after around 40 seconds of non-use).
