Heng Balance Lamp, This Lamp Has Levitating Switch, An AWESOME Lamp With Magnetic Middle-Air Switch ........... This Lamp from designer Li Zanwen, named The Heng Balance Lamp is a modern table lamp with an elliptical frame that illuminates from within when the bottom corded sphere is raised to magnetically connect to the top hanging sphere and turns off simply by pulling the levitating spheres apart.

IN OTHER WORDS, The Heng Balance Lamp is square, oval, and circular beechwood desk lamps with a pair of magnetic wooden balls on strings at the center that attract and hold one another suspended in their field when "latched" together ............ this action also triggers the light's internal switch, flicking it on when the balls are both hovering, and off when you pull the bottom ball away ............
“‘Heng’ is Chinese for ‘balance,’” she says (project manager Lisze Siaw), “The way of pulling the switch is inspired by the old ‘pulling switches’ of our childhood memories. The product appearance and design is based on the traditional Chinese round fans and window frames. The lights are placed inside the ring-shaped frame and when you turn [them on] the frame will light up, creating an ethereal Zen feeling.”
