WHY ???

Designed to eliminate the limitations of hammock lounging, it’s a portable stand that you can assemble to set up your hammock anywhere ... and of course without a car required. Whether on the beach, the desert, or the middle of a post-apocalypse wasteland, you no longer need any actual trees nearby to enjoy swinging left and right while hanging suspended off the ground.

This "WOOOW Stuff" called ENO Nomad Hammock Stand consists of two four-legged stands that you set up at each end of the hammock. Each stand comes with straps at the center connector, which you can use to set up the included ridge pole, which ensures the two stands will maintain a proper distance from each other the whole time. The actual hammock attaches to one of the straps on the stand, which come with varying heights for the attachment points, so you can hang your hammock closer or lower to the ground, depending on which set up you like best.

The 4 legs of each stand are connected using cords and a central base buckle to ensure they stay in place, no matter how much your weight shifts while on the hammock. It also comes with eight stakes that you can use to secure all eight legs to their exact spots to further fortify your support. Simply put, this stand will hold, no matter how much weight you put on the hammock and no matter how much you move while lying in it.

Construction is a lightweight aluminum alloy for the poles, so this shouldn’t add all that much weight to the gear you are carrying. Problem is, the darn thing all packs in a pretty large bag during transport, so this will definitely add awkwardly-sized cargo to any trip ... i think, anyone will not want to carry this all day on a mountain trail. Assembly looks pretty straightforward, so it should not be that difficult to put together. Do set aside around 10 minutes, though, as it has a lot of poles that you will need to secure. The ENO Nomad Hammock Stand can support up to 300 pounds, so you can put two-person hammocks in.
