Garmin´s new Quatix 5 smartwatch is built for life on the sea, a watch designed for boating, fishing and more. The Garmin Quatix 5 comes with built-in activity profiles that allows you to easily track performance metrics for paddleboarding, kayaking, and canoeing, along with other traditional sports, like running, swimming, cycling, hiking, and golf. It has a wrist-based heart rate sensor, too, so it can get a pretty complete picture of your performance at every activity, all while pairing with Garmin chartplotters to provide autopilot control of boats, remote waypoint marking, sail racing assistance, and more, making it a seriously useful tool for boating enthusiasts.

With a high-sensitivity GPS, an altimeter, a barometer, and a three-axis electronic compass, the watch can be an indispensable utility during navigation on both land and water. Other features include the ability to control StereoActive and ANT-enabled stereo models, 100 meters of water resistance, a sunlight-readable color display, and 24 hours of battery life in GPS mode (up to 2 weeks with the GPS off).
